One of the most popular culinary herbs Summer Savory is perfect for any garden. An annual and member of the mint family it is used in America cuisines as well in eastern European dishes. Has a wonderful pleasant aroma that will make any home smell awesome. Is mainly used for flavoring chicken, turkey, dressings, stews, soups.

Anise is sweet and very aromatic and distinguished by its Licorice flavor. Anise is a herbaceous plant that grows to around 3 foot tall. Anise is a mild antiparasitic that can be used for digestive issues. A native to the eastern Mediterranean region Anise is the perfect herb if you like butterflies in the garden! Anise is a food source for many butterflies and moths.
Be sure to not transplant Anise because it has a taproot that does not like being moved!
Anise is also used to flavor Liquor Arab!
It also produces aniseed oil, an essential oil used to treat colds and flu!
Anise seeds are also used to make herbal tea used as a lactation aid for women!

Needs Full sun with plenty of moisture and a well drained area.

Lemon Basil – ocimum basilicum var. citriodorum … A lemon-scented variety of basil with a very small plant, great for windows. Easy to grow just don’t give too much water and make it drains well! It tends to die with too much moister!
Thai Basil

Purple Basil
Purple basil is an excellent garnish and has a fresh flavor perfect for many dishes. Remember to remove green shoots as they appear, this will help keep the plant purple. For a healthier oil rich plant be sure to place the plant in a sunlight friendly space.
