Origanum majorana is native to North Africa and Southeast Asian
Sweet Marjoram has a mild oregano flavor with a hint of balsam. It is wonderfully aromatic. It is good with veal, beef, lamb, green veggies, carrots, eggplant, eggs, mushrooms, parsnips, potatoes, squash, and tomatoes. roast poultry,cauliflower,fish, pates,! It is great for stews and soup and add it to your roast also!
Has mildly antiseptic properties and is good for the skin! It has also been used to help digestion and tension.
grows to about 1′ tall aromatic leaves that are grey-green!
Be sure to not cover the seeds after you sow them. They need light to germinate!
