Arugula  is a member of the Mustard family and is a leafy green herb.  It is called different names in different areas: rugola, rucola, roquette, garden rocket, Mediterranean rocket, salad rocket, Roman rocket, or Italian cress

Arugula is an excellent source of magnesium,  folate, vitamin C and A, and calcium.  Expect warm peppery flavor.. radish  is related to watercress and radish. The younger leafs have a milder flavor and older leafs may have a bitter taste.

Arugula is best eaten fresh and will spoil within a few days after picked. Be sure to spread when you plant it to insure fresh Arugula all summer long.
